And I simply fell into head-over-heels, lady-and-the-tramp, romeo-and-juliet kinda love with linguistics, language, and how the particular choices of words can trigger different emotions in our readers.

Annnnnnd it’s usually around here that I name drop a few big agency names that I’ve worked with for years to build that credibility brownie point with you. 

Alas... I’ma burst your digi-bubble and all the web copy “rules” by telling you that – nope, I don’t have 10 years of marketing experience. And na da, I ain’t an ex-journo either.

The truth? I used to actually write things people NEVER read... as a lawyer. (HA!)

It all started with $250 and an experiment

Wordfetti? Began as a side-gig in 2017 while I juggled my corporate job.🧑🏻‍💼 

Born out of my desire to spread the power of words and create more ZING (read: impact) in this heckin' incredible world we live in, I DIY’d my website with $250 and began to test an idea where I’d build a brand without knowing anyone in the industry from the ground up, simply through the power medium of words. 

I got clear on my positioning and message, and launched 🚀 our website within weeks.

For 7 months it was crickets. But after a few digital tumbleweeds… I got my first lead. And then another. And another. 

Through consistency in my messaging, words and content, I became fully booked for 3 months in advance within 12 months, quit my corporate job to Wordfetti full time and have since? Not only doubled, almost tripled our growth each year, but have helped our clients achieve the same through my methodology.📈🎊

I had my first academic journal publication at the age of 20 🎓and it's on a topic I specialised in in law school: domestic violence.
